With over 30 years of experience, our professional staff can design a cost-effective substance of abuse screening program for your organization that meets State and Federal requirements.

On-Site Drugs of Abuse and Alcohol Collections 

On-site collections are performed at your place of business at a date and time convenient to your schedule. On-site collection is ideal for routine monthly or weekly random drug testing. A trained Maritime Medical technician will respond to a location of your choice with supplies to collect samples.  The collections hourly rate will be waived for on-site collections of 15 or more within the Morgan City area. Normal testing charges still apply.

Off Site Drugs of Abuse and Alcohol Collections

Off-site collections are performed at our office. Off-site collection is particularly suited for pre-employment and post-accident drug testing. The Maritime Medical laboratory is centrally located at 1216 Victor II Blvd, Suite 400, a convenient location with free parking. Click here to see a map. Our staff is available for collecting specimens Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.  No appointment is necessary for specimen collection and testing. Choosing Maritime Medical for off-site collection and testing eliminates the expense of a separate collection agency, ensures quicker turn-around time, and a guarantees a rigorous chain of custody. Normal testing charges still apply.

Random Selection Service (No Charge)

The Maritime Medical Laboratory will generate a randomized list of program participants and submit it to your designated representatives at pre-determined intervals. This service saves you time and helps you avoid harassment accusations.


24/7 Stat Service

Our normal office hours are Mon - Thu 8:30 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. and Fri 8:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. For collection services outside of normal hours of operation, please call the on-call technician at 877-MMS-GULF (Hourly Rates Apply). Your call will be returned within 10 minutes. Within 20 minutes of responding to the call, the on-call technician will meet the donor at the Maritime Medical Laboratory, your location, or a hospital emergency room in Morgan City. Technicians are available to meet the client at other locations and travel time will apply.
